Once you have a car charger device in your possession, charging up your vehicle's battery should be a breeze. Follow these easy directions to make sure that your battery has plenty of juice to take you where you need to go.

Find the battery under the hood of the car. Take note of the positive and negative terminals so that you know where to attach the clamps that are connected to the car charger with cords. Clamp the red ones on the positive end and the black pair on the negative end. Make sure they are fully attached before plugging in the device.

Turn on the device without interruption until the car is totally charged. You may have to shut the charger off at that point if it does not turn off automatically. Keep the clamps attached to the terminals until you are sure that the charger is completely turned off.
